Equipment Environmental Sales Team consists of tenured and outgoing
team players who are self-starters with strong problem-solving
skills. The ideal candidate would be driven to succeed within a
competitive market and possess a strong mechanical aptitude. The
Territory Manager Position represents Macqueen Equipment's product
lines and services within a designated territory. Position
OverviewThe ideal candidate will need to travel to Municipalities
and Businesses within an assigned area to determine future fleet
needs by building business, maintaining relationships, and
prospecting for new customers within their area of responsibility.
A successful candidate would be a business-minded professional who
strives for organizational success, seeks career growth, and is
motivated by the ability to set his/her own income potential. This
role reports to a Regional Sales Manager or VP/Director of Sales.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesKnow and follow a defined sales process:
5-4-3-2-1 Sales MethodologyWork directly with customers to
determine their current fleet and future needsCreate and maintain a
customer data base in CRMDevelop a five-year forecast and customer
equipment budgets using CRM Participate in local and national
industry trade showsCommunicate market needs and trends to senior
managementAssist internal Parts/Service Departments in providing
customer service to the existing customer baseAbility to monitor,
evaluate, and counter activities of the competitionEmploy a
consultative selling approach to identify and manage customer needs
and expectations gaining a trusted advisor relationshipLearn and
become proficient with the manufacturer's sales training and build
configuration program(s)Consistently manage multiple priorities
while meeting deadlines60% travel with possible 3-5 overnights per
month within assigned Iowa territory.
Requirements:
Desired QualificationsPrior Heavy Equipment sales experience or at
least five years of industry related sales experienceMust be highly
motivated, results-oriented and self-starterPossess excellent
organizational and time management skillsQualified candidates must
live within or near the assigned territoryExperience with heavy
equipment or the ability to learn operation/familiarity with
represented equipmentStrong mechanical aptitudeCapable of
demonstrating exceptional oral and written communication
skills4-year degree required or equivalentProficient in Microsoft
OfficeAbility to obtain a Class B CDL driver license. MacQueen is
