Job Description:

Inventory Control PositionPrimary Job Functions: To present the company's philosophy of caring for the customer in a manner that leaves a favorable impression. To effectively organize and maintain an inventory system which maximizes productivity.Reports to: General Manager/Owner (Kendel)

  • Detail Oriented
  • Effective Communicator
  • Create, Modify, Receive and Complete Purchase Orders
  • Organize and Pull Equipment and Material for Installation Jobs
  • Locate and Order Parts, Materials, or Equipment for Both Service and Installation Departments
  • Restock Unused Materials from Installation Jobs
  • Investigate and Correct Negative Stock Quantity Situations
  • Re-Order Equipment, Parts, and Materials for Minimum Stock Levels
  • Unload and Receive Incoming Orders and Check Order for Accuracy
  • Verify Vendor Invoices Match Purchase Orders
  • Update Pricing for Service and Installation Price Books
  • Organize and document all serialized equipment with-in software so it is accessible to all employees
  • Work with Department Managers to Determine Stocking Levels
  • Meet requirements of pre-employment and random drug testing, maintain a valid driver's license, ability to use up to a 12' step ladder, ability to use an extension ladder, and ability to lift 100-150 lbs.
  • Other duties as assignedPerformance Indicators:
    • Attendance, including timely PTO requests (emergencies are an exception)
    • Accuracy of inventory
    • Management of inventory ideal quantities
    • Up to date product costs
    • Professional, friendly, timely communicationwith customers, employees, & vendors
    • Maximizing vendor delivery schedules
    • Quality/efficiency of completed Duties
    • Meeting/exceeding company and customer standards
    • Problem solving & decision making skills
    • Level of responsibility for increasing job competency
    • Suggestions which improve the operations of 72 Degrees
    • Ability to adapt to changeCompensation Package $20-$25 per hour Depending on Knowledge and Experience
