They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.Wells Fargo Commercial Capital (WFCC) helps customers succeed financially by financing growth, businesses in transition, and facilitating access to different forms of capital. - We deliver secured lending solutions, investment capital, trust services, and deep domain and industry experience. - WFCC includes Commercial Distribution Finance (CDF), Corporate Trust Services (CTS), Wells Fargo Capital Finance (WFCF), Wells Fargo Equipment Finance (WFEF), Specialty Finance, Strategic Capital, and Renewable Energy and Environmental Finance. This consolidated group of businesses is a leading contributor to Wholesales revenue, assets, and net income.The Position:The Business Initiative Consultant will be part of a dynamic team that drives the implementation of programs and initiatives for WFCC and will primarily focus on Business Process Management (BPM) and transformation. - BPM is a critical component in our journey of becoming a better company and become operationally excellent. Not only will effective process definition, measurement, and improvement help us deliver more consistent outcomes and higher quality of service to customers, it is foundational for our transformation work, which will ultimately improve our speed to market, our ability to manage risk better and our efficiency.Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
  • Drive BPM as foundational component to transform, simplify, manage, optimize & control our business by developing high quality roadmaps, presentations, metrics, timelines and other documentation to track performance
  • Lead cross functional/virtual teams to drive and implement lean process improvement initiatives across a variety of LOB's that have a high level of complexity and coordination
  • Build vision and CAP planning initiatives to ensure continuous progress on BPM with robust communication
  • Implement education and training initiatives to drive BPM employee engagement within WFCC
  • Drive cross business synergies and build a strategic cross functional framework to simplify and improve WFCC businesses
  • Partner with Risk Management to ensure plans/programs adhere to appropriate policies and regulations; and supports our focus on risk mitigation and compliance-driven culture to firmly establish those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company.

    Required Qualifications
    • 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning

      • Experience in problem analysis, solution implementation, and change management
      • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
      • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
      • Ability to research, compile, and present critical operational data in executive summaries
      • Ability to quickly and accurately execute tactical deliverables
      • Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders
      • Ability to assess issues, make quick decisions, implement solutions, and influence change
      • Ability to turn preliminary or ambiguous information, ideas, or problems into well-defined plans and solutions
