Employment Type:Full timeShift:Day ShiftDescription:Position Purpose: -The Supervisor Interventional Radiology of Imaging Services reports to the Imaging Services Manager. Supervisor of the Interventional Radiology programs. - Assists the manager in the development of policies/procedures, departmental competencies and orientation of associates. Participates in associate selection and performance management (PEP). -Responsible for obtaining and analyzing pertinent data and assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures performed in both areas. - This position requires self-direction, critical thinking, good communication skills and the ability to perform within a team with excellent time management skills. - Provides continuity of patient care. Assists Radiologist with procedures. Adheres to MercyOne's performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of MercyOne. -What you will Do: -

• Provides Direct Patient cares in the IR lab - in accordance to Departmental policies
• Supervises the day-to-day operations of interventional radiology departments.
• Coordinates associate orientation, training and scheduling.
• Oversees supply Inventory and equipment
• Communicates to colleagues all relevant information; in conjunction with the Imaging Services Manager, holds periodic communication meetings and ensures records are kept.
• Team Development
• Contributes to an annual budget that is congruent with goals and objectives
• Develops, implements and monitors a Quality Improvement Plan that is reviewed and revised annually or as needed for CQI.
• Adheres to all safety, infection control and employee health policies and procedures.Hours/Schedule: - -1.0 FTE; Full-time, 40 hour per weekMinimum Qualifications: - -Graduate of a two-year accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
  • 3-4 years of prior Interventional Radiography experience required
  • Must have valid IDPH permit to practice
  • ARRT registered in Radiography.
  • ARRT advanced board certification in Interventional Radiography (VI) required within 12 months of hire.
