Employment Type:Full timeShift:Day ShiftDescription:Position Purpose: -Under the supervision of the HME Manager, delivers equipment and supplies to private residences and MercyOne facilities and contracted facilities. - Provides equipment management support and ensured equipment and supplies are patient ready and stored according to regulations. - Adheres to MercyOne's performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the Mission, Vision and Values of MercyOne.What you will Do: -Delivers equipment and supplies to MercyOne facilities and private residences.Provides equipment management education and support to patients/families.Enters inventory in/out into the TIMS system.Picks up equipment when home care is complete.Assembles and disassembles patient equipment.Maintains assigned vehicle(s) in clean and orderly condition. - Informs supervisor of mechanical problems.Adheres to all safety, infection control and employee health policies and procedures.Based on principles of growth and development, provides care appropriate to the age related needs of the patients served on his/her assigned unit, which may include:Birth-28 days: Neonate1-18 Months: Infant18 Mo-3 Yrs: Toddler3-6 Yrs: Pre-School Aged6-12 Yrs: School-Aged12-18 Yrs: Adolescents18-65 Yrs: Adults65+ Yrs: GeriatricsHours/Schedule: -Full-time; 40 hours per week8:30 am to 5 pm; will include a weekend and call rotation Minimum Qualifications: - -Valid IA driver's license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)-personal vehicle.HME delivery/customer service experience strongly preferredKnowledge of medical terminology and mathematics, science and mechanical aptitudes desirable.Computer skills.Ability to read, write and understand the English language; and communicate effectively with patients, visitors and staff while performing assigned duties.Position Highlights and BenefitsWe care about your well-being, both physical and mental, which is why our benefit package includes:------ -
