Follow all procedures as setout by The Salvation Army in the handling and processing of these goods. Provide excellentcustomer service to our shoppers and donors. Maintaining a clean and well organized work andshopping experience. Handling each transaction with accuracy.Essential Functions:- Sort, tag and price merchandise as instructed.- Tracks production numbers and reports in the assigned location.- Moves priced merchandise to floor for display and stocking or to the designated shippinglocation in the warehouse.- Assists donors with donations. Complete donation receipts, collect donor information andtrack donors.- Power sorting donations into the correct bins.- Receives ARC Center Trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correctdepartments.- Maintain clean work and storage spaces.- Follows all Salvation Army policies regarding the sale of merchandise.- Assist in keeping the floor stocked and put new merchandise out as assigned. Work tomeet the production goals for the store each day as needed.- Must be available for a flexible schedule.Job Description Page 2 of 2Minimum Qualifications:The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal education, experience, certifications,skills, and/or abilities required for this position.Education: High School Diploma or currently pursuing.Skills/Abilities:Abilityto speak, write and understand English in a manner sufficient for effectivecommunication with leadership and field personnel.Basiccomputer skills including but not limited to the use of payroll program and the abilityto learn other programs or systems that are adopted by the TSA ARC.Abilityto apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written,oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables instandardized situations.Abilityto use basic math skills.Mustbe able to pass a pre-employment drug test and back ground test.Physical Requirements:The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by anemployee to successfully perform the duties of this job. Maystand for extended periods.
