Job DescriptionOverview: We are seeking a Medication Assistant (TMA/ CMA) to join our team at Mill Pond in Ankeny, IA. This position may include working every other weekend and scheduled holidays. CNA and TMA certifications are required for this position. As a Trained Medication Assistant, your contributions play an important role in caring for the needs of older adults with medication administration as well as overseeing their physical, emotional, social, mental and spiritual wellbeing. You are responsible for the provision of high quality personal care and services to residents to support their Personally Designed Living choices while maintaining consistency with regulations and established best practices. About Mill Pond: Near I-35 in Ankeny, Iowa, Mill Pond sits on five acres south of First Street, just off of Delaware Avenue with convenient access to all Polk County amenities. This community offers the following care options: Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Care Center, and Transitional/Short Term Care Responsibilities: The Trained Medication Assistant is responsible for the provision of high quality care and services to Care Center residents consistent with regulations and established clinical best practices. The Trained Medication Assistant administers medications and treatments under the direct supervision of a nurse and performs Resident Assistant responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications: * Medication Administration certification required. * Nursing Assistant certification required. * Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies. * Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
