Registered Nurse (RN) | Oncology Location: Des Moines, IA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,327 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Days, Monday-Friday Hours per Shift: 8 Hours Experience: Minimum of 12 months of oncology experience in a clinic or ambulatory setting is required. License: Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license is required. Certifications: AHA or ARC BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required. Must-Have: - Minimum of 12 months of oncology experience in a clinic or ambulatory setting is required. - First-time travelers will be accepted if they have at least 24 months of oncology experience. - EPIC (beacon) experience is strongly encouraged. - Port competency experience is required. - Phlebotomy experience is required. Description: A brand-new hematology and oncology outpatient clinic has recently opened. The clinic averages 12 to 15 patients per day. There are two nurse practitioner providers and three medical doctor providers. Candidates will be responsible for phlebotomy, injections, port draws, and chemotherapy education. Quick interviews are being conducted for viable candidates. Professional references will be requested. Candidates must provide a work history or resume documenting oncology experience. A skills checklist specific to oncology, clinic, or chemotherapy must be completed. Driver's license is required. All candidates must state their active Iowa or compact/multistate nursing license at the time of submission.
