Masters degree or specialized training in Medical-Surgical Oncology
seeking to contribute to a leading cancer centers patient-centered
approach. The newly opened facility delivers advanced outpatient
treatment to an average of 12-15 patients daily, with a skilled
team comprising two nurse practitioners and three physicians. Your
role will emphasize phlebotomy, injections, port draws, and
chemotherapy education, engaging with patients requiring precise,
attentive oncology nursing care. Proficiency with EPIC Electronic
Medical Records will support effective clinical documentation and
coordination with interdisciplinary staff. Responsibilities
include: Administering chemotherapy and supportive oncology
therapies following established protocols Performing venipuncture,
port access, and other specialized procedures Educating patients
and families on treatment plans, side effects, and symptom
management Collaborating with providers and team members to ensure
comprehensive care Maintaining accurate and timely patient records
using EPIC EMR system Qualifications Desired: Current RN licensure
with Medical-Surgical Oncology experience Expertise in phlebotomy,
port management, injection administration, and chemo education
Comfortable working in an outpatient hematology/oncology setting
Effective communication and patient education skills Familiarity
