Job Description Infectious Disease Physician opening - Des
Moines, IAPosition Details - Full-time, employed position - Join a
well-established team of 7 Infectious Disease physicians and 2 APPs
- Office attached to the primary hospital - Inpatient consults and
follow-up at 3 hospitals within a 10-mile radius - Outpatient
Infectious Disease consultation and follow-up - Large built-in
referral base from extensive primary care network - Participate in
a robust antimicrobial stewardship program - Involvement in
antimicrobial stewardship and e-consult services at affiliated
sites - Teaching opportunities with residents and medical students
- Broad case mix including traditional and immunocompromised
patients (including kidney transplant) Requirements - MD or DO -
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Infectious Disease - Ability
to obtain and hold an unrestricted Iowa medical license - Eligible
to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt) - J-1 waiver
