Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 24 months of Medical Surgical experience required License: Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Experience caring for pulmonary and ventilated patients preferred - Charge experience required Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical. This position involves providing care to patients on a 23-bed unit. The nurse will care for pulmonary patients and may also care for COVID-positive individuals. Candidates must have a minimum of 24 months of current Medical Surgical experience. Charge experience is required for this role. BLS certification is mandatory at the time of application. Experience with patients on BiPAP and trach care is highly preferred. The role includes an every other weekend and holiday rotation. The nurse may be required to float to various units as needed.
