Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Des Moines, IA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,235 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of current Med Surg / Medical Surgical experience required. License: Active Iowa license or compact/multistate required. Certifications: BLS required. Must-Have: - Med Surg (Renal, Urology, Transplant) care experience. - At least 1 travel contract completed within the previous 12 months. - EPIC EMR experience. - Skills checklist specific to Med Surg / Medical Surgical. - Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, or nurse manager within the last 24 months. - Valid driver’s license required. Description: Quickly interviewing viable candidates. Phone call or text communication will come from a specific area code. Local radius rule applies. The unit includes 22 beds catering to general Med Surg patients, including renal, transplant, and urology cases. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5-6. Travelers will be required to float across all campuses. This position rotates weekends every other or every third week, including holiday rotation if scheduled.
