Experience: 4 months of NICU / Neonatal Intensive Care License:
Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license Certifications:
BLS, NRP Must-Have: - 4 months of NICU / Neonatal Intensive Care
experience - Active BLS certification - Active NRP certification -
Experience with vasopressors and sedation glucose - Work
history/resume must have 24 months of current PICU / Pediatric
Intensive Care experience - Skills Checklist must be specific to
the discipline listed - Professional reference from a charge nurse,
supervisor, nurse manager, or director within the last 24 months
Description: Quickly interviewing viable candidates. Nurses may
float to general pediatrics and PICU. The unit has a 1:2 or 1:3
patient-to-nurse ratio. Types of patients include those with
premature birth, respiratory distress/failure, and hypoglycemia.
Candidates must be able to handle high-acuity neonatal patients.
Nurses will administer medications including vasopressors and
