working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVOR RN in Des
Moines, Iowa, 50309! Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession:
Nursing Specialty: Operating Room (OR) Duration: 13 weeks Shift:
Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM Experience: - 2
years of current operating room experience required - Strong
cardiac, vascular, thoracic proficiency experience including
general surgery experience required - Scrub experience preferred
License: - Active Iowa or compact multistate nursing license
required Certifications: - BLS (AHA) required Must-Have: -
Proficient in operating room procedures - Experience in da Vinci
robotics, pediatrics, trauma, neurology, orthopedics (primarily
trauma), gynecology, urology, transplants, plastics, and ear, nose,
throat cases highly preferred - EPIC electronic medical record
system experience within the previous 3 years required - Level I
trauma experience highly preferred - Scrub experience needed,
including open-heart scrubbing highly preferred Description: This
role involves working in a dynamic operating room environment.
Nurses will be expected to handle an average caseload of 35-50
cases per day. The expectation for turnover times is less than 20
minutes. Additional requirements include floating across various
campuses. This position requires both circulating and scrubbing
responsibilities. Call coverage includes weekends from Friday
evening through Monday morning. Candidates should have a strong
background in multiple surgical specialties. Professional
references and a skills checklist specific to operating room duties
are required. This position does not accept first-time travelers.
Candidates must have completed a travel assignment within the
