Doctor of Medicine | Surgery - Plastic Location: Des Moines, IA Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position A leading Midwest health system is seeking a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon for a full-time locum assignment with immediate start options. Position Overview Full-time Need Patient Contact Hours: 36 hrs/week Schedule Options: 7 on / 7 off OR 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off Start: ASAP – Call-only to start; clinic/OR may be added later Clinic Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Mon–Fri) Clinic Days: Mon–Fri Procedure/OR Days: 2–4 per week On-Call: Soft tissue call clinic call/EMTALA rotation Practice Details Inpatient Coverage: Required No Outreach, No Telehealth Providers On Team: 1 MD 1 APP No APP Supervision Required Nursing Support: 1:1 Imaging, Lab, Pharmacy: Onsite Clinic Volume: 16 patients/day Appointment Length: 15–30 mins Patient Demographics: All ages; surgical cosmetic EMR: Epic Teaching Opportunities Available Job Responsibilities Trauma call ER consults In-office procedures Reconstructive cases in collaboration with breast surgeons Compensation (Malpractice must be included in rates) 24-Hour On Call: $3200 (includes first 2 hrs gratis) Call Back: $350 ((after 2 hours gratis)) Travel Reimbursements Flights: Up to $750 round trip (taxes/fees included) Lodging: Up to 1.5× GSA rate (taxes/fees included) Car Rental: Up to $55/day Mileage: IRS Standard ?? Submission Requirements Board Certified Plastic Surgery Active IA License OR IMLC LOQ Experienced surgeon Clean malpractice / no background issues Available for required schedule (7 on/7 off OR 2 on/2 off)
