Start your Voyage - Apply Now Profile Summary:Create and drive new overall sales strategy for Voya Financial Advisors (VFA), manage a growing staff including direct sales, inside sales, product, and Client Experience teams. In addition to the current direct sales method, focus on new lead generation by growing advisor/RIA network and oversee strategy for 10 + affinity partners who can direct referrals. Train sales staff on positioning additional services to drive growth.Profile Description:

  • Create and drive overall sales strategy for VFA including development of Annual Sales Plan with stated goals.
  • Manage the VFA Direct Sales and Inside Sales teams through activity-based metrics and ongoing coaching to meet and exceed all sales goals. Ensure that sales business plans are in place for each team member
  • Develop sale compensation plans with metrics to drive right behavior and sales growth
  • Manage all affinity relationships with annual business plan for each relationship to drive new leads
  • Liaison with other Voya sales teams of to ensure that best practices are shared across Select Advantage and Investor Channel with VFA.
  • Prepare and present monthly sales update, including consulting on current competitive climate and industry trends
  • Ad hoc requests and assists with projects
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.Knowledge & Experience:
    • Series 7, 24 and 63 licenses required
    • 8-10 years sales and/or sales management experience required (intermediaries, plan sponsors and /or individuals)
    • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) required
    • Experience in retirement plan distribution through advisors and RIA's
    • ERISA qualified retirement plan knowledge required
    • Exceptional written and oral communication skills required
    • Exceptional presentation skills both virtual and in person for Client and Board meetings
    • Exceptional organizational skills
    • Proficiencies in MS office products including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Data Analytics and Salesforce#LI-NVCompensation Pay Disclosure: Voya is committed to pay that's fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities. The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate's geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
