Job Summary Coordinate the programming for children and families at Trail Point Aquatics & Wellness. Supervise day-to-day operations of child care services, programming and staff. Essential Functions Recruit, hire, train, schedule and supervise childcare staff which includes planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, addressing complaints and resolving problems. Ensure records of staff certifications are current and complete. Work with staff to develop growth opportunities and to increase capacity within the organization. Create quality programming for children and their families by the development and maintenance of policies and procedures that model current and best practices in the field. Maintain a safe, healthy and engaging environment for children. Support the continued development of staff through modeling, coaching, mentoring and supervision of practices. Attend regularly scheduled staff meetings to discuss program operations and gather input from staff on ideas for quality improvement. Develop positive relationships with children and their families, staff, and the Trail Point Aquatics and Wellness community. Respond to any staff, member and community inquiries and concerns in a timely manner. Serve as a member of the Trail Point Aquatics and Wellness leadership team and participate in special events promoting the facility and membership. Assist in development and maintenance of the Kids Zone Budget. Maintain inventory of program equipment and supplies to assist with establishment of replacement schedule Perform other duties as assigned.
