Volt is immediately hiring for Machining Manufacturing Engineer in ANKENY, IowaAs a Machining Manufacturing Engineer you will:1st shift but must be open to off-shift if production schedules change40 hours a week with occasional overtimeSafety shoes with internal metatarsal protection required day 1NOT open to recent grads - position needs to work independently, so experience is necessaryJOB DUTIES:Provide daily manufacturing engineering support for John Deere Des Moines Works CNC machining operations.REQUIRED:--- 4-year degree in Engineering field.--- Working knowledge of CNC machining - turning, milling or laser cutting systems--- Manufacturing experience--- Project management--- Detail oriented--- 1 of the following experiences: Creo, AutoCAD or InventorPREFERRED:--- G-code programming--- Perishable tool selection--- Machine trouble shooting--- Fixture designThis is a Contract opportunity.Shift: 1st shiftsLocation: ANKENY, IowaPay Rate: $45 to $48 per hour.
