Job Description:

We are a full service, design/build company. We are a service company specializing in the everyday need of home ownership and upkeep. Currently, we have an opening for a Handyman Project Coordinator. Candidates need to have experience in coordinating employees, trade contractors, managing client expectations, and an understanding of carpentry and other trade skills. Candidates must be detail oriented, organized, and be able to keep up with multiple projects at the same time. We are looking for a candidate that is dependable, trustworthy, accepts responsibility, and strives to exceed expectations. Duties as Administrative Assistant / Handyman Project Coordinator include: organizing, scheduling, and coordinating personnel in the performance of work on handyman type projects including rough carpentry, finish carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, masonry, concrete finishing, drywall finishing and other crafts; accepts personal responsibility for coordination of each specific job. Additional Responsibilities: Provide excellent customer service addressing client needs by telephone Set up sales appointments Schedule Handyman Technicians and Trade Contractors Coordinate work schedules with clients Order/coordinate special order materials Address customer concerns Maintain client database Calendar management Direct invoicing and collections Education: High School Diploma (or equivalent) Qualifications: 5+ years of previous administrative experience (construction related) Customer service experience Advanced computer skills - Microsoft Products Compensation: $18-22 per hour, depending upon experience Applicant must exhibit a professional attitude, work well with others, and be neat in appearance. Candidate will be subject to a criminal background check. Benefits include - holiday and vacation pay, health insurance and retirement plan.
