Billing Specialist - Payment PosterAnkeny, IA**Type:** Full-Time**Shift:** 1st**Job ID:** 2021-2599Apply (https://careers-purfoods.icims.com/jobs/2599/billing-specialist---payment-poster/login)**Position Summary**The Billing Specialist is responsible for performing specified financial tasks in support of the day-to-day operations of the Billing Department.**Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to**+ Post accounts receivable payments per agency remittance advices+ Resolve valid or authorized adjustments with balancing entries in order to reconcile A/R payments+ Validate accuracy of system posted A/R payments+ Backup claims denial team as needed**Required Skills & Experience**+ HS Diploma or equivalent required+ Some accounts receivable experience+ Strong math skills+ Basic to ntermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and other Microsoft Office software+ Strong oral and written communication skills+ Excellent customer service skills+ Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and pays close attention to detail+ Strong ability to work with team members across multiple departments+ Follow routine procedures and processes+ Resolve entry-level issues and pass complex issues on to supervisor**Preferred Skills & Experience**+ Associates Degree+ 1 + years of experience in accounts receivable role**Physical Requirements**+ Repetitive motions that include the wrists, hands and/or fingers+ Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting, remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periods+ Visual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus**Company Overview**Mom's Meals, a PurFoods Company is a home-delivered meal service providing fully prepared, refrigerated meal solutions direct to homes nationwide for over 20 years.
