This position will support new and emerging technology platforms allowing the lines of businesses to evolve and grow their product sets. - This leader will effectively be defining the strategic roadmap for the future development, and the transformation of existing servicing and default management applications including Cloud platforms (PaaS) as well as effectively leveraging third party providers. - This leader will also be responsible to move toward the Agile environment. - This position will also have the ownership for ensuring compliance to all Technology Compliance Plan (TCP) procedures, guidelines and deliverables.Position Responsibilities and Expected Outcomes

  • Manage a resource base of full time team members (US and Offshore), contingent staff and vendor partnerships, ongoing performance management and objectives
  • Overall responsibility for maintaining application SLAs, stability and availability
  • Maintain application releases and ensuring no customer negative impacts
  • Active management of all project and work efforts, capacity and demand to head count -
  • Accountable for the development and execution of business and technology priorities
  • Delivery on application rationalization and simplification
  • Adhere and deliver on all Technology Compliance Plan activities
  • Responsible for fostering a sound risk environment
  • Strong IT Governance, Compliance, Control skills with a proven track record of - sustained favorable examination ratings and outcomes
  • Focus on Risk, regulatory responsibilities, SHRPS, Compliance corrective actions and MRAs and Policy Exceptions
  • Adhere to location strategy objectives
  • Lead effectively and manage strategic deliverables, initiatives and expenses
  • Responsibility for managing operating budgets, headcount, and targets
  • Deliver on all resiliency objectivesAs a Team Member Manager, you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself, your team, and the business. Specifically you will:
    • Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them.
    • Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.

      Required Qualifications
      • 12+ years of application development and implementation experience
      • 7+ years of management experience in technology

        Desired Qualifications
        • Experience managing all application development efforts within a medium-size line of business
        • Experience effectively interacting with a variety of contacts, primarily with others at the executive level
        • Agile experience

          • Skilled in Business Process Management, leading a process centric organization, managing to quality indicators and driving continuous improvement activities
          • Strong IT Governance, Compliance, Control skills with a proven track record of - sustained favorable examination ratings and outcomes
          • Experience in developing, maintaining and executing strategic plans
          • Strong matrixed management experience in technology within a global large scale financial services company
          • Skilled in the 24x7 operation of mission critical environments with the requirement for unsurpassed stability, resiliency and availability.
          • A seasoned financial services executive with progressive experience leading a global technology organization
          • Broad knowledge of the IT infrastructure systems integration and how IT enables the business through effective strategic planning, governance and management disciplines
          • Proven ability to modernize large scaled legacy platforms
          • Senior level leadership experience managing a complex organization including, managers, individual contributors and vendor resources across multiple global locations
          • Highly refined and professional verbal and written communications and ability to assist in building and presenting complex topics to senior management in multiple mediums
          • Experience delivering results in a fast-paced, deadline driven, and highly matrixed environment
          • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives
          • Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals
          • Ability to manage to concurrent competing and changing deadlines, quickly assess issue and concerns while bringing those issues to quick resolution
          • Proactive innovator, motivator and change agent; able to effectively and constructively lead change in an organization
          • Experience creating and achieving a desired future state vision through influence on individual and group goals, reinforcements and systems
